Only from this place of deepened understanding can we enact real and lasting change.

In therapy with me, we will create a safe space for you to reconnect with your deep knowing, to name and grieve your past hurts, and to be more free to live your life from a place of trust, wholeness, and self-compassion.

Couple & Relationship Counseling

Sometimes, the pressure of juggling career, parenting and the hustle and bustle of living in Marin takes its toll on your intimate relationship. Nothing’s working like you imagined it would, and underneath it all, you want to feel loved and desired. Faced with so many demands, you and your partner might need a place to focus on just your relationship – the vulnerabilities, desires, and longings which need a space to be heard and understood. Those very sparks which drew you and your partner together need to be rediscovered and fed.

In my San Anselmo office (or online), I teach couples to express themselves constructively and to listen deeply. I help identify repetitive relational patterns in your current relationship, finding their source in your families of origin, and open a space for mutual empathy, compassion and understanding. It’s this space that offers a possibility for something new to emerge based on your needs and desires.
