Get Reimbursed for Out-of-Network Care

Reimbursify is an app which does the legwork of getting reimbursed for those out-of-network claims for you. Founded in part by Wendell Potter, a Cigna exec turned whistle blower, for a nominal fee ( .99-1.49 per claim), you can download the app and submit for reimbursement from your phone. Reimbursify takes it from there.

In my experience, many find they are eligible to be reimbursed for 60-80% of the cost of their psychotherapy, after meeting the deductible.

Since so many therapists are not in-network insurance providers, Reimbursify is one way to reduce the cost of therapy and increase its accessibility.

*Do check with your insurance company and ask what your out-of-network benefits are for psychotherapy, and what your deductible is for out-of-network care, etc. If you have an HMO plan, this doesn’t apply to you.
